A believer in Sudan had a difficult decision to make. He had just spent 45 days in prison for his faith, and authorities had threatened him with a longer prison term if he continued to preach about Jesus. In Nigeria, many of our brothers and sisters have an equally difficult choice. Should they continue going to church each Sunday even though there's always a chance it could be bombed by radical Muslims? And in North Korea, even deciding to accept a Bible can lead to life in a prison camp.
As the year draws to a close, we are so thankful for all our friends who have chosen to partner with us in serving today's persecuted church.
Your contributions make a significant difference in the lives of those who are persecuted because of their faith in Jesus Christ. Many of these believers could avoid persecution if they would simply stay silent or hide their faith.
But they “loved not their lives unto the death.” (Revelation 12:11)
